Presentation of the book “sustainable Cities and communities of the northwest of the iberian peninsula”

Next Wednesday, December 10, the researchers of the IDEGA and the members of the group BEFORE Rubén C. Lois and David Santomil will present the book sustainable Cities and communities of the northwest of the iberian peninsula. Strategies and challenges of the urban agenda of the city of Ames. will do next to Victoria Otero, the mathematics of the USC; José Daniel Viaño, author of a chapter in the book and resident in Ames; and the mayor of the municipality, Blas García.

The book offers a comprehensive analysis and multidisciplinary of the main challenges and opportunities faced by cities from the perspective of academics and with an orientation towards the management of the territory. , The authors present Ames as a case study, and the centers of the debate in this publication on the population dynamics and land in Galicia and North of Portugal.
